I am currently completing my second year of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. I achieved an ATAR of 98.3 in Year 12.

I have 1 year of experience working as a tutor at an after school tutoring center which involved guiding students in Years 1 to 10 in English and math, working through activities as a method for teaching concepts, as well as working alongside other tutors to create a program suited for each individual student's abilities and needs. I also have 4 years of experience working as a private tutor helping a young student with chemistry, biology, maths, and English, as well as ensuring that she understood the fundamental concepts, was able to answer a variety of questions and working through any specific problems she had. My tutoring sessions are always student-centered, which means that my students always determine the pace at which they learn, as well as the topics and materials that we will focus on.

Hobbies
I have been an active member of the school and university community. I am heavily involved in music, sport and college events. I play social netball, volleyball and tennis, all of which I enjoy immensely because they gave me an opportunity to build my team work and leadership skills and allowed me to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I also participated in a few of the arts including dancing and singing in choir. I was also involved in debating and this has improved my problem solving skills and given me the tools to think innovatively and collaboratively. Juggling all these activities, while trying to stay on top of study has allowed me to develop my organization and time management skills. I'm passionate about travelling and have been to parts of America, Europe and Asia. Also, while living in Texas, I was able to explore American and Hispanic culture through learning Spanish, attending cultural festivals and interacting with people.
